Meeting for worship

We hold our meetings for worship at 10.30am on Sunday mornings, with those in the meeting house joining those online in one blended meeting for worship. 

We have a designated children’s meeting twice a month, but families and children are always welcome.

Wednesday worship takes place online between 12.15 and 12.45.

We’re a friendly community who often meet during the week, with groups including knitting and crafting; creative writing; and spiritual reading; as well as regular walks in the local area and an Eco Church group .

Our worship is unprogrammed, often called silent worship. We wait together listening for ‘that of God within’. During this time anyone might feel moved to speak, briefly.  This is known as ‘ministry’.

Our experience is that the Quaker Way affects the whole of our lives. It leads us,  individually and together, to work towards a more just and peaceful world, and a sustainable lifestyle.
